PROVIDENCIALES, Turks and Caicos Islands — During the first House of Assembly meeting of the year in the Turks and Caicos Islands, newly appointed Minister of Immigration DonHue Gardiner was heard to say in the house and on national radio that local police and private citizens must hunt down and capture all and every illegal Haitian migrant and must do everything in their power to make the Haitians’ lives “unbearable”.
Gardiner was at the time speaking in support of a new bill to provide new vehicles for the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police in Providenciales. The statement followed similar remarks by Gardiner and Premier Rufus Ewing on local television, when they spoke out against the continuing attempts by Haitians to enter and live in the TCI illegally. According to opposition members of parliament, Gardiner was singling out persons of Haitian nationality; however, Gardiner later attempted to clear this up, saying he also supported the “hunting down and deportation” of all illegals but that his efforts against Haitians became a priority when he took over as minister of immigration. |

This is truly amazing since some of the nation’s leading citizens, major businessmen are Haitians.
In fact, as I understand it, many citizens of the country are of Haitian origin. They just don’t want to share anything with the brothers and sisters.
This guy’s visas to all other countries should be cancelled.
