Le Core Group salue l’installation imminente d’un nouveau premier ministre et de son Cabinet et appellent tous les acteurs à redoubler d’efforts pour assurer la mise en œuvre de l’Accord du 5 février
Port-au-Prince, le 26 mars 2016 – La Représentante spéciale du Secrétaire général des Nations Unies et les autres membres du « Core Group » (les Ambassadeurs du Brésil, du Canada, de la France, de l’Espagne, des États-Unis d’Amérique, de l’Union Européenne et le Représentant spécial de l’Organisation des États Américains) saluent la confirmation par le Parlement, du programme du gouvernement du Premier ministre, son installation imminente, ainsi que celle de son Cabinet.
Tout en soulignant le rôle essentiel de la stabilité institutionnelle pour surmonter les défis auxquels le pays fait face, les membres du “Core Group” espèrent que l’esprit d’unité nationale continuera à guider la mise en œuvre de l’Accord du 5 Février. Ils appellent tous les acteurs à prendre des mesures résolues à cet égard et à procéder au rétablissement du Conseil électoral provisoire et à l’achèvement du processus électoral de 2015, pour faciliter le retour à l’ordre constitutionnel.
The Core Group welcomes the imminent installation of a new Prime Minister
and his Cabinet and calls on all actors to redouble their efforts to ensure the implementation of the 5 February Agreement
Port-au-Prince, 26 March 2016 – The Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations and the other members of the “Core Group” (the Ambassadors of Brazil, Canada, France, Spain, United States of America, the European Union and the Special Representative of the Organization of American States) welcome the confirmation, by Parliament, of the government programme of Prime Minister Enex J. Jean-Charles and his imminent installation along with the Cabinet.
The members of the “Core Group”, underscoring the vital role of institutional stability to overcome the challenges facing the country, hope that a spirit of national unity will continue to guide the implementation of the 5 February Agreement. They call on all actors to take resolute action in this regard and to proceed with the re-establishment of the Provisional Electoral Council and the completion of the 2015 electoral process to facilitate the return to full Constitutional order.

The new Prime Minister – as his first move – cancelled the $1.50 tax on transfers to Haiti. He effectively cancelled PSUGO which removes a substantial cash flow from our budget.
With school opening on Monday, there will be a new focus.
The new PM’s mandate should focus on FINISHING ELECTORAL PROCESS AND NOTHING MORE!!!
