COMMENT: HAITIAN-TRUTH.ORG
Privert’s assault on our society’s values must be stopped.
Privert must depart on June 14… no extensions, no prolongation.
He should also face criminal actions for his part in the Les Cayes Caserne assault, and massive theft of government funds.
If Privert needs to pursue corruption he need only look in the mirror.
The threat to our society, by Danton Leger, mirrors the blueprint of Aristide and Preval: Remember Claudy Gassant l’ancien commissaire du gouvernement de Port-au-Prince as he arrested all sorts of people.
It is only a matter of time until these guys target President Martelly!
Privert’s terror tactics would be at home in dictatorial society – which is exactly what Privert is attempting to create, either with himself at its head, or with a return of ARISTIDE.
Rain, snow, clouds are types of water. Aristide,Preval,Privert are different aspects of the same thing,”LAVALAS”
THEY WANT TO GO BACK TO THE OLD SCHOOL . THEIR TIME IS OVER . WHAT HAVE THEY DONE AFTER DUVALIER DEPARTURE ? NOTHING ! ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ! . Nine former Haitian electoral officials and 11 Cabinet ministers in former President Michel Martelly’s administration have been forbidden to leave the country.
The order from Prosecutor Danton Leger was issued shortly after the release of a commission’s report calling for the presidential election to be redone due to the appearance of significant electoral fraud.
On Wednesday, former Prime Minister Evans Paul and ministers who served under him confirmed they are on a travel ban list.
Flanked by his lawyer, Paul said that “nobody has the right to take my freedom of movement away.” He and other ex-ministers are seeking to have their names removed.
Justice Minister Camille Junior Edouard says the interim government had nothing to do with the prosecutor’s decision.
Leger did not respond to a request for comment.
