Moments after news of Senate President Lambert’s decision to pass the PETROCARIBE dossier to the Court of Superior Accounts, ex-President Aristide erupted. The Little Priest demanded return of the millions he advanced to his Senate associates to obtain their success in having the dossier accepted. This would have seen his opponents discredited, possibly jailed, even though the report was based upon flawed evidence, or no evidence at all.
Of course, the possibility of regaining the Aristide millions is an empty dream. Beauplan, and the others, have already blown the cash on their lifestyles. As an example, Beauplan purchased a $600,000 home in Orlando, with cash. The others have dispersed Aristide contribution upon the necessities of life such as mistresses, expensive watches and Land Cruisers..
And what about the OPERATION BLACKOUT investment in certain Senators to protect their stranglehold on the Nation’s power via the Petrocaribe dossier? Success would guarantee continuation of their criminal net profit o $23,000,000 per month, sucked from the pockets of Haiti’s citizens? Will Sogenor, E-Power and Haytrak demand their money. Perhaps their only recourse is shutting off EDH to the Senators’ homes.
Moise Jean Charles and Michel Andre were also given bags of cash by Aristide/Lavalas and were cunning enough to simply steal the dollars, rather than hiring demonstrators, as agreed.
Moise Jean Charles has an expensive house in Pembroke Pines, purchased with the funds and Andre Michel has a more modest Land Cruiser.
Is this the end of the PETROCARIBE witch-hunt?
It is certainly a victory for Democracy and the Jovenel Moise Presidency.
Launched as a time-bomb by Privert some 2 years ago, as a weapon to destabilize the Jovenel Moise Presidency, Senator Lambert has effectively set the clock back to zero or beyond.
The Court of Superior Accounts cannot accept the PETROCARIBE Dossier without CAREFULLY studying the facts surrounding this fiasco. In fact, to come to a valid decision the Court must study and weigh each allegation contained throughout the flawed pages of this embarrassingly juvenile Lavalas/Aristide effort to damage our government.
In other words, the Court must basically start the investigation from its beginning and follow through to the conclusion in order to give a real judgment.
President Moise may have completed his term, by this time.
Youri Latortue, Beauplan, Don Kato, Cassy and Pierre had a specific agenda. The collapse of our Jovenel Moise government. Youri planned to be President in the aftermath.
The CSCCA is not a part of that team effort.
We have seen a gathering of Aristide/Lavalas join the combat against Justice and – subsequently – against The Presidency of Jovenel Moise, our Presidency, the Nation’s Presidency. They have used different subjects, and different focuses but their combined and ultimate goal is the destabilization and collapse of the Jovenel Moise Presidency.
Petrocaribe has been derailed, for the moment, but the danger has not passed until it is ultimately discredited and consigned to the garbage can.
Our Democratically elected government, the Jovenel Moise Presidency, is still in danger and will continue to be in danger until the Aristide/Lavalas elements are permanently disabled.
The successful competition of Jovenel’s first year is an important step towards victory. However, we must remain vigilant since Aristide’s menace never sleeps.
It will be in orbit for 10 years.
