Please explain to me how Daniel Rouzier is close to either Preval OR Aristide? Because I have known Mr. Rouzier my entire life and know for a fact he cares not for either of those liars and thieves!
This website as my 10 year old daughter puts it, should be called “Haitian lies” not Haitian truth.
As someone that’s close to the family, I know that Mr. Rouzier is not friends with either
Mr. Aristide or Mr. Preval, to say the least.
Before you print nonsense, please check YOUR FACTS. Mr.Rouzier gave all his documents since last week. He is Haitian and did give his Haitian passeports in addition to his American green card. Only shows that he is not American. And a very simple inquire from your reporter to the American Embassy would have found out if he was a American citizen.
Please, in the future have a minimum of integrity and do some research work before printing anything!!
Let us be completely clear about this.
We do not say whether or not Rouzier is an American, Frenchman or a citizen of Upper Botswana. The facts are there for anyone to see- in the Haitian media. He refused to provide the documentation, at the last moment – last week.
He has wasted 30 days of the Nation’s time and that is a crime against his country.
On the other comment, you may claim to be friends of Rouzier, but you obviously do not know much about his life. He was/is a close associate of Aristide and was a Preval man. Those are the simple facts, whether or not you wish to accept them. They are recognized facts within the Haitian business community.
A check with the American embassy will provide no detail with regard to a person’s citizenship.
Don’t bring your daughter into this. She is probably more perceptive of the Truth than you are.

I have visited Haiti a number of times, and always though the folks in the business community that I was dealing with (no names here) were as corrupt as they could be, and nobody cared. I found out that someone there that was my “friend ” of 24 years was actually involved in drugs. Does that make me a person that anonymous is going to yell at?

I believe Mr. Collins did give the solid proof that you want. It is in all of the Haitian media reportings. Perhaps he can find links. I believe the sites articles 95% of the time, and that is a great average. For you this sounds personal. did your good friend offer you an important job that you will not get if he does not get the place in politics?

To begin, such assumptions and opinions about Mr. Daniel Rouzier are significantly ignorant and illogical. Mr. Rouzier stands as a fundamental core of the honest working class in Haiti. As everything develops positively in Mr. Rouzier’s life, this noble man decides to attempt on changing the corrupted fate of his country. Mr. Rouzier wouldn’t of been able to operate his businesses in Haiti as an american citizen, therefore his Haitian nationality is undoubtedly vallid. He submitted all his papers and documents, however the parliament ( haitian deputies, senaters) are pursued to keep the country in its original state, corrupted and poor.The government of Haiti has been dysfunctional and unscrupulous for the past 20 years, and instead of engaging in a positive change with Mr. Rouzier, we stand to disapprove him and consequently remain in a impoverished state? Furthermore, i am 110% certain that Mr. Rouzier has no connection to Preval or Aristide. It is meaningless to continue on debating on the subject, for it has no concrete evidence and is based on unjustifiable reasoning.
Ps: Mr. Daniel Rouzier as prime minister would be a major improvement for Haiti, explaining why the elected president Martelly requested him. Additionally, he has worked unquestionably hard all his life, and although he has given back so much ( food for the poor, etc..) he is driven to put all of his accomplishments aside to better his country. This article shows a rather undeveloped and irrational statement that lacks support and evidence.
