On behalf of everyone at International Planned Parenthood Federation/Western Hemisphere Region, I am pleased to announce the launch of our 2010 annual report.

From mobile health clinics in Colombia to sexuality education in Buenos Aires, we worked to ensure that every individual had access to the information and services they need to make informed decisions about their health and well-being. And we made a difference.

In 2010, we delivered over 26 million vital—often lifesaving—health services. At the same time, we worked with governments and donors to secure policies and funding that meet the real-life needs of millions more.

In this report, you will meet Soledad, who is empowering youth in Lima with the information and tools they need to navigate adolescence safely. In Haiti, you will meet Dr. Desir, who is working to restore women’s access to sexual and reproductive health services following last year’s devastating earthquake. And many more…
