We are pleased to say that a member of the Behrmnann family was not kidnapped. We also apologize for any tension that this comment may have caused. We received the information directly from within the team that coordinates kidnap recovery in Haiti and this is the first information – received – that has been in error. A move against the Behrmanns would be a frightening attack on the already fragile structure of Haiti
