Past week, he Dominican group “M” directed by Fernando Capellan that manages the free zone of the Industrial Development Company SA (CODEVI), located in Ouanaminthe on over 600,000 m2, has inaugurated the first factory of People’s Republic of China “Everbright Headwear”, specialized in the manufacture of caps of all types for different brands and for several international markets. This Chinese factory, which will initially create around 600 jobs, will make caps for players of the major baseball leagues especially for the Major League of Baseball (MLB).

When the plant reaches its cruising speed, it will produce about 3 million caps a year and employ 1,500 Haitian and Dominican workers.

The “M” Group is currently recruiting senior executives, engineers and workers. Recall that the CODEVI currently employs more than 10,000 Haitians.
