“TIME TO SAY GOOD BYE” …. The title of a popular song should also be the lyrics delivered by PNH Director General Michel Ange Gedeon, at this, the end of his destructive term as head of our police force. Gedeon’s willful effort to diminish the capability of our PNH has reduced its capability to a cartoon shadow of what it would be – if properly led.

PROTEGER et SERVIR has been warped into disservice DESTROY and DISSERVICE   as Lavalas militant Gedeon has worked to derail the Presidency of Jovenel Moise and, in doing so, disrupted the lives of 12,000,000 Haitian citizens. Haitians  don’t have the luxury of an American Visa/Residence, as does Gedeon, and his family.

The American authorities are aware of his expensive Coral Springs, Florida home, and his accumulated fortune, beyond that expected of a successful Wall Street trader. But Gedeon would be unwise to stress the tolerance of those who will soon be his hosts. 

This tolerance can end in a messy situation if abused.

His wife and children have lived in Florida comfort, for a long time, while Haitians die on the streets, children starve, inflation eats away at our currency, even as Gedeon continues to deposit large bundles of US Dollars in his Bank of America accounts.

Gedeon has spent most of his time in Florida, while Director General, PNH since he has departed on American Airlines every Thursday at 11 A.M., returning on Monday. 

He has a massive number of Frequent Flyer Miles.

Is Gedeon a part time Haitian, or a part-time American resident? 

Some in the American government wonder where Gedeon acquired the funds to purchase a $1,000,000 home in Boca Raton, fill 3 Bank of America accounts, and place his kids in a good Florida school, all on his PNH paycheck.

This is where the PROOF OF FUNDS come into play, as some Haitians in the States have learned recently, when their bank accounts were frozen, until they could satisfy requirements.

Under American tax law each citizen or Green Card Holder must report his/her global income, even if it is not taxable in the States. So, if you made $500,000 in smuggled cement, you would have to declare this, even if it is not taxable. Same goes for $$ from a few kilos of cocaine, or the thousands some generate from gang-involvement or kidnapping..

Some will never be able to supply the proof and their funds will be absorbed into the Internal Revenue Service accounting system.

Of course, Gedeon could explain some of his fortune away by simply telling of the fortune he has made in contraband from the Dominican Republic. One of his specialties is cement. 

It will be years before Haiti recovers from the devastation created by the leadership (lack of leadership) of Gedeon. It would be one thing is he were simply incompetent, but Gedeon is not incompetent. He has personally set out to diminish the capabilities of our PNH is his, and his Lavalas associate’s effort to destabilize the Jovenel Moise Presidency.

Gedeon has insulted our intelligence by giving foolish answers, when challenged as to why the PNH did not react in situations that required immediate and forceful involvement.
