During a visit, last week, to National Radio facility, President Moise was surprised to see dozens of nice MPTC trucks sitting on a large open area. When he pressed for answers, the President received a variety of answers, some more absurd than others.
Some had their keys lost. Therefore they could not be used.
Certain individuals suggest that a few, if not all of these vehicles, would gradually disappear across the border into the Dominican Republic.
Past, and present chiefs of MPTC – Traveaux Public – must be questioned about this outrage.
Millions of dollars in equipment is involved here.
A forensic – outside – audit of MPTC would see our prison numbers expand.
There is a basic conflict here.
Jovenel is trying to stamp out corruption.
He must be careful, otherwise Corruption will stamp out our President in order to retain its place at the trough.
