The Consulates of Haiti including that of Miami, Chicago, Boston, Montreal, Ecuador, Aruba; the Embassies of Haiti, including that of Dominican Republic, France, Wasington DC, Germany, Luxembourg, Spain and many diaspora organizations around the world are preparing to celebrate the 18 May, with pomp, the 211th anniversary of Haitian bicolor.

Saturday, May 17, the Consular Mission joins the Haitian Congress to Fortify Haiti and other Haitian community organizations in Chicago to invite the compatriots and friends of Haiti to cultural and recreational patriotic meeting, which will be held from 6:30 to 10:30 pm, in the premises of Kizin Creole, located at 2311 W. Howard Street, Chicago. Program: several speakers, songs, poems, historical flag, folklore show, musical entertainment. Snacks and refreshments will be served.

Sunday, May 18, the Haitian Catholic Mission of the Archdiocese of Chicago and the Consulate General invite the brothers and sisters of the Community to a Te Deum Mass Solemn to be celebrated at 5:30 pm at the Church of Our Lady of Peace , located at 7801 South Jeffery, Chicago. After the religious ceremony a reception will be held in the basement of the Church. This invitation extends to people of all religious denominations.

Dominican Republic :
Several activities are planned for the Haitian community in the Dominican Republic on the occasion of the commemoration of Flag Day.

“Haitian Weeks” in Luxembourg
