Aristide, and his powerful apologists, such as Bill and Hillary Clinton, have always commanded a much larger and more powerful ability to promote their agenda.
The outside world sees the Aristide propaganda.
The Haitian lives, and some dies, with the Aristide reality and these are two diametrically opposing concepts.
Aristide is a great advocate of repetition, using this over and over again to beat home a point of view. So effective has this been that much of the world still believes he was “the first Democratically elected president in Haitian history,’ when there were at least five before him, including Francois Duvalier who won over 60% of the vote in his first election.
Aristide used the Left-leaning International Community’s desire to believe Haiti’s military must be bad, to destroy this important element in Haitian society.23,000 American soldiers returned Aristide to Haiti in 1994, on the basis of the Governors Island Accord which was predicated upon one basic element, the existence of the Forces Armees d’Haiti (FAdH) as a control factor to prevent Aristide’s predicted grab for dictatorial control.
Quick elections, in December, 1994, would eliminate Aristide/Lavalas in a free-and-fair-election.
And so Aristide returned, delayed elections into the future as he neutralized the FAdH by enlisting the aid of an American General who approved the unconstitutional appointment of a new General Officer in the FAdH – Colonel Poisson the Fire Chief. Aristide then appointed Poisson the Commander in Chief and ordered his disbandment of the FAdH.
Aristide then played the “Three more years game,” saying he should be allowed to make up for the time he spent in Washington. This ploy was effectively used to fix the elections – with wimpy, frightened International Community collusion – to place Rene Preval in the Palace.
And so the Aristide Crime survived until Martelly was elected.
Without the FAdH the Left-Leaning International Community created the PNH with many good intentions. The Americans and Canadians trained a lot of people. Aristide immediately eliminated them when they came back to Haiti. Aristide personally selected each and every police officer making the PNH and Aristide/Lavalas force.
At one point American Secretary of State Warren Christopher attended an OAS summit at Club Med. He also attended the first PNH graduation class’s ceremony and had the opportunity to speak to the new officers.
Warren Christopher, representative of the world’s greatest power, naively urged the graduates to serve their Nation, their fellow citizens, not any specific individual, or personality.
He ended his speech and stepped down.
There was no applause.
Aristide then moved to the podium, placing his hands on its surface, looking out across the room full of new police officers. He said nothing for something more than 30 seconds then challenged – “Where is your loyalty?!!”
The new graduates jumped to their feet and chanted… “Lavalas, Lavalas, Lavalas!!!”
One could hear the echoes of Nazi Germany!
A stunned Secretary of State had the opportunity to retake the stage and correct the concept. Instead, America, in the person of Warren Christopher, scuttled from the room and out of the country excusing himself. “There were important things in Somalia that needed his attention…”
So the die was set.
Aristide had his own police force and Haiti had none.
The people could no longer expect the intervention and arbitration of the FAdH. And please, don’t listen to the Left-Leaning International Community’s propaganda, the Haitian people, the vast majority of Haitians with no say in their Nation’s control, loved their FAdH.
When Aristide was driven out, and the PNH neutralized in February, 2004, the Haitian people asked their FAdH members to put on their uniforms and give them security. This became an effective reality until the Left-Leaning United Nations parachuted into our society and assaulted the FAdH. .
And so, the chance for stability was squandered and the poisoned Aristide/Lavalas PNH was given control again.
No matter what the International Community has done, probably 33%, or more, PNH officers are controlled by Aristide. Many are controlled by drug dealers and PNH vehicles serve the useful purpose of moving cocaine around the country. Those officers who resisted the game were eliminated.
Privert, during his illegal, unconstitutional overhold of power, injected many, many, many Lavalas people into key positiions, crippling much of what President Jovenel Moise might like to do in his effort to change Haiti for the better.
A key appointment was Aristide/Lavalas Michel-Ange Gedeon to be Director General of the PNH. He is a member of Aristide’s inner circle and often joins the Little Priest at Tabarre for satanic Voodoo ceremonies.
Gedeon has moved to cripple the PNH reactions to public danger. In the past these efforts have simply seen him, and his inner circle, shutting off their phones when lower level PNH officers, trying to control manifestations, have called for assistance.
Gedeon’s recent CRIMINAL orders that saw the entire PNH force remain in barracks, when violence swept our society, should be the Coup de Grace for his career.
Gedeon has betrayed his pledge to Protect and Serve.
Gedeon is now a treasonous criminal.
The Senate, and the rest of President Moise’s government must move to eliminate this poison from our system and follow up with the arrest and trail of those politicians, especially Senators Beaulan, Don Kato, Cassy and Pierre, along with major businessmen who created our recent disaster.
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.
HAITI IS AT A CROSSROADS.
THE PRESENT AND FUTURE DESERVE JUSTICE.
GEDEON MUST GO!
AND THERE ARE ADDITIONAL PRESSURES FOR IMMEDIACY!
THE BUSINESS SECTOR WILL NOT ACCEPT A CONTINUED ENVIRONMENT OF INSECURITY. THE CHAOTIC UNPREDICTABILITY SPELLS DEATH TO ANY CONCEPT OF INVESTMENT, TOURISM OR ANY OTHER BUILDING BLOCK FOR SURVIVAL.
PRESIDENT MOISE WILL BE EXPECTED TO DO THE IMPOSSIBLE WITH IMPOSSIBLE CHALLENGES THAT ARE SURE TO CREATE NEGATIVE REACTIONS WHEN HE ACTS.
SOME CONSIDERATION COULD BE GIVEN TO A REQUEST FOR A SMALL DETACHMENT OF AMERICAN MARINES TO GUARANTEE PALACE/JOVENEL SECURITY.
IT HAS BEEN DONE IN THE PAST.
IF JOVENEL MOISE IS TO SUCCEED HE REQUIRES REALISTIC SUPPORT FROM OUR INTERNATIONAL FRIENDS.
