EDITORIAL GARRY CONILLE DOES NOT UNDERSTAND THE GAME AND QUID PRO QUO, ITS MOST IMPORTANT FACTOR. BY ACCEPTING PARLIAMENT’S DEMANDS, WITHOUT MAKING SOME OF HIIS OWN, CONILLE GIVES UP A LOT IN RETURN FOR NOTHING.

February 16, 2012

Garry Conille will lose while holding a winning hand.

He is an exceptionally naïve, inexperienced person with Haitian citizenship – unlike some others – who does not really understand the game. He also depends upon the advice of others who – like him – do not understand the Haitian battleground.

One must take advantage of the positive factors available. By accepting Parliament’s invitation/demand for attendance by Conille’s cabinet and Secretaries of States, without a counter-proposal – Conille has lost a major advantage and can only lose the present game.

Connile should accept the invitation from Parliament with a demand that everyone react equally, to the Constitutional requirements of citizenship.

Conille should demand that all members of his cabinet, with dual citizenship, step down. This includes and Secretaries of State in the same category.

In addition, Conille should demand that the nearly three dozen Deputies and Senators, with dual citizenship, also step down.

And – in addition to this, he should demand that any, and all Deputies and Senators, who filed false documents that allowed their candidacy – to also step down. Specifically, all of those sitting members who have been convicted of a criminal offence should be retroactively removed from their positions.

Rene Preval left these time bombs to derail the government and UNITE/INITE should not be allowed control of the playing field.

A basic Law of Physics must apply here: For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.

Conille surrenders some ground while Parliament surrenders space.

Garry Conille may have been born in Haiti, and have never renounced his citizenship. The only passport he has ever possessed is a Haitian passport….but he is not Haitian. His entire experience, and philosophy is from somewhere else – perhaps Mars –  and he does not dovetail with local requirements.  Conille fits all of the legal requirements, for his position, but his lack of experience, and refusal to seek local advice,  really prevents him from succeeding.

Conille doesn’t understand Quid pro quo.  Everything in Haiti must be compromise…get something in return for something, otherwise you eventually lose.

Aristide and Preval are paying for many of the demonstrations against the Martelly/Conille government. These actions should be met with immediate filing of complaints against Artistide/Preval for the many murders, kidnaps, thefts and cocaine traffic generated by this pair.

The $198,000,000 stolen from Petro Caribe must be explained. Unfortunately, there is a suggestion that some big money was paid to some of Martelly’s team to appoint the existing Central Bank Governor, thus preventing much research there.

Parliament in trying to destabilize the Martelly/Conille government. Demand the removal of all members who have dual citizenship, or criminal records.

Set up the audit commission and let the chips fall where they may. Bellerive recently commented that $500,000,000 was no big deal, when questions about his sweetheart deals with Senator Bautista of the Dominican Republic. Bellerive should be forced to explain this comment, and details of his part in this rape of Haiti.

Conille will be another potential waste of time in a nation that needs immediate action. Two years have been squandered in this stupid game, which makes fortunes for members of Parliament, Bellerive, and others, while destroying what is left of Haiti.

When will the Mob finally take the streets demanding that promises made are promises kept.

Martelly posters proclaim:    Promis  se det.  It is time to collect the debt.
