Jean Claude Duvalier visited his father’s grave in the center of Port-auPrince. Within moments of his arrival a huge crowd converged on the location.   The crowd grew larger, with each passing moment.   The well-mannered mass of people surrounded Duvalier in an effort to touch him

Duvalier’s arrival in Leogane was even more spectacular as thousands crowded the town square to cheer Duvalier. This was his mother’s home town and the people have never forgotten their president.
