Call for candidates, Permanent Electoral Council- Added COMMENTARY By Haitian-Truth

The Bureau of the National Assembly, represented by its President, Senator Youri Latortue, and its Vice-President, Deputy Cholzer Chancy, informs those concerned that a register of candidates is open to the Executive Secretariat of the National Assembly, in order to recruit 3 of the 9 members of the Permanent Electoral Council, in accordance with article 192-3 of the current constitution.

Inscriptions are received at the Executive Secretariat, Legislative Building, since Wednesday 30 August and until Wednesday, September 6, 2017.

Applicants must provide the following documents :

1 – National Identification Card (NIC);
2 – Tax Number (NIF);
3 – Birth certificate or extract from the archives;
4 – Certificate of nationality;
5 – The last three (3) passports issued by the Immigration and Emigration Service;
6 – A certificate of good life and morals
7 – Criminal record
8 – Notarized deed of title or a license or certificate attesting the exercise of an industry or a profession in Haiti;
9 – Certificate of residence in Haiti;
10 – Certificate of discharge if one has been accountable for public funds;
11 – Final tax return;
12 – Curriculum vitae and a brief biographical note;
13 – 2 photos of recent date;
14 – A letter of motivation.

And now the Senate and Chamber of Deputies will load the new Permanent Electoral Council with their own “tame People.”  This will see them permanently seated on ino the distant future. A dictatorship of law.
