Haiti - Social : Bob Lemoine, a great journalist passed away

Sunday, the journalist Bob Lemoine aged 73, died in a Miami hospital. Bob Lemoine significantly marked the domain of broadcasting in Haiti, including to Radio Métropole where he has worked since its foundation in 1970 alongside including Herby Widmaier and Roland Dupoux for many years. He also contributed to the formation of many journalists in Haiti.

“President Michel Martelly, learned with sadness of the death of Mr. Bob Lemoine occurred Sunday, March 8, 2015, in the United States […] It is with reverence that the Head of State salutes the remains of this Mapou and present at the Lemoine family, relatives and friends of Bob and to the large family of Radio Métropole and the press as a whole, its deepest sympathies on the occasion of this unexpected departure.”
