The Lavalas sponsored demonstration, scheduled for today, was a miserable failure.

No one participated!

And, for the last 2 days, Lavalas elements have done their best to launch demonstrations, in Cap Haitien.

What will happen on the 29th – anniversary of Aristide first removal from office, September 29, 1991?

There are persistent rumors, to the effect, that President Martelly will officially incarcerate ex-President Jean-Bertrand Aristide, to end his open, and secret interference in the Martelly/Lamothe maintenance of stability in Haiti.

Now Lavalas/Aristide insiders say they are maneuvering to create an incident while the President and Prime Minister are out of the country.

People near the gates of Aristide’s Tabarre residence.

Aristide realizes he is running out of options and must do something before he slides behind the curtain of a rally secure holding situation, a situation in which he will be denied phones, Internet, or anything other than supervised visits by legal counsel.

People may die as Aristide plays a dangerous game.

It has happened before.

Remember December 5, 1990, when Aristide’s man, Patrick Norzeus, set off a bomb at an Aristide rally in Petion-Ville. Many of his supporters were severely insured, with many legs lost.

This even is credited with swinging sympathy towards Aristide, even as the CEP was considering delay of the ballot because of Aristide’s activities.
