One of Haiti’s truly despicable citizens –EX- DEPUTY ARNEL BELIZAIRE – was almost beaten to death by a crowd of his ex-Aristide supporters, upset by his switch to UNITE/INITE, the Preval party.

Badly injured, Belizaire was transported to a local hospital. The PNH should put a guard on his door and escort this bum to the National Penitentiary upon his release.

Perhaps there is a message here, for many who enjoyed immunity as members of Haiti’s Parliament.

Arnel Belizaire, as of January 12, 2014, will be ex-Deputy Arnel Belizaire, without the immunity that has protected him from arrest over the past years. Belizaire  is a murderer, cocaine trafficker, car thief, and convicted felon #PN: 04-10-100 who escaped from jail.

Rene Preval put Belizaire in the Chamber of Deputies, in spite of the fact he could not legally qualify and, once there, had the benefit of immunity/impunity which he used to its fullest effect.

He smuggled 75 assault rifles from the Dominican Republic and was seen carrying one of these on all occasions, in public. MINUSTAH would have liked to take this weapon from him, but couldn’t. They can now take action.

They could always charge  Citizen Belizaire with murder for an incident in Jacmel when he shot two guys. One was killed while the other was paralyzed. People will remember this incident.

They should at least jail him for the remainder of his prison sentence, since he escaped, and then became a Deputie.

Senator Lambert made it clear, on January 12. the Chambre of Deputies and Senate is expired. Any of them caught with a unlicensed weapon will be arrested.

Time for an end to Impunity.
