What level has Haiti accepted when demonstrators dig up graves, violating one of the world’s basic concepts of decency – and use the coffins to block traffic?
Telephone intercepts, and tape-recorded meetings with Aristide, show this was a well-planned tactic that reflects Aristide’s use of bodies, during the 1991-1994 Embargo Period. His people stole bodies from graves, or bought them from the morgues. An average price, when electricity was off hovered around $60 USD. They had to use them before rats nibbled away parts.
Their classic case was one body, stolen from the General Hospital, that had arrived from the States, with a Death Certificate. It was found, shot several times, on American Embassy steps.
The other was a frozen body, shot full of holes, thawing on a Cite Soleir street.
Evans Paul was chosen because of his ability to control the streets. Yesterday, and today, shows he has no ability, or is really a partner in the chaos and violence. After all, that is Evans Paul’s hallmark – VIOLENCE!!
I don’t know what Martelly can do now that he has invited Paul to the party and given him control of our government. Martelly was on a winning streak, with Lamothe as Prime Minister. With the bad advice from Queen Sophia, Martelly has effectively thrown all of the gains and benefits away.
Haiti was “Open for Business…” ‘’’But who will do business with a land of savages who have no respect for themselves, their Nation or even their Dead?!!!
Worst of all, Martelly is destroying his base of popularity with the young people. It will be his hardcore supporters who turn against Martelly and lead the way to chaos and disaster.
It isn’t too late to save the day.
We are not optimistic with Queen Sophia focused on the President’s Chair.
Where is the spirit of Francois Duvalier, when we need it.
First of all, no one would have blocked traffic, during his presidency. To do so would be met with immediate, firm action.
Had anyone violated a grave, they would have paid with their lives.
This is all that these people understand.
Lavalas has no philosophy, other than chaos.
Ask a Lavalas person to outline their philosophy.
They have never presented a really positive action. Their only actions have been PR campaigns that were never backed with results.
The Americans have been responsible for almost every disaster in Haiti – except for Hurricanes and Earthquakes, although some blame us for those.
We as protection money, meaning he will never be touched under the Martelly administration.
Aristide back, believing he would only focus on Education. We should realize that Education – is Politics. The students are a key element.
John Kerry blocked a move to arrest Aristide – so he could protect some guilty Americans… perhaps including the Clintons.
And now, some believe Aristide paid Sophia $10,000,000 which guarantees he is safe – yet again.
Sophia Martelly must pay for what she has done to the Nation, what she has stolen from the Nation, what she has stolen from its citizens.

We have tried to open a business project in Haiti for something more than 18 months. Since we might compete with a local business – that charges 10 times what we would – there is no hope.
Haiti’s enemy is its government, led by people like Philippe Cineas and Rousseau. If you don’t pay – you cannot lay.
They should both be in jail.

Philippe Cineas was responsible for the Cap Haitian fiasco in which several millions were stolen from the terminal project. He then blocked efforts to fix the problems. foreign tem did enough to allow October 2 first flight but Cineas has blocked promised work to finish building.
Some suggest he, and his friends too $3,000,000 and only spent $500,000 on project.

At the beginning of the Martelly presidency we believed the promise to help Haitians. Our effort to create a $50,000,000 initial project, with follow up operations that could have exceeded three times that much saw Sophia Martelly demand $5,000,000 on the table before anything could be discussed.
We are now based in the Philippines where the price was much less.
A little payment is simply doing business, but Sophia’s greed was stunning. She also wanted a percentage of the business.
We never managed a contact with Prime Minister Lamothe.

I am stunned at the outpouring of comments, but after a morning like this, it is clear that the passions of Haitian residents, and the diaspora abroad are unified in their disgust for what is happening in our dear Haiti. I am terrified of the future, and fear for the lives of our children, with failure rates in the schools that are 100%. This whole thing is a massive cherade. A trickery. Aristide has been running things since he came back, but we were blinded by Martelly’s charm and charisma.
