Arcade Fire perform “Here Comes the Night Time” in Haiti — watch

Arcade Fire’s 2014 Reflektor tour featured plenty of highlights, including more than 35 (!) different live covers of artists like Prince, The Rolling Stones, Wolf Parade, and Boyz II Men. Another special moment on their global trek came during a stop in Haiti, a country whose music and culture served as a major influence on the band’s fourth studio album.

There, Win Butler & co. performed a stripped-down version of Reflektor highlight “Here Comes the Night Time”. Arcade Fire were joined by local musicians and folks dressed up in celebration of Haiti’s Carnival season.

Below, watch pro-shot footage of the performance courtesy of Jacmel’s Artists Institute.

Arcade Fire are currently in New Orleans working on album No. 5. The indie rockers are expected to return to the stage later this month for a benefit show in Montreal; they’re also confirmed to appear at two European festivals this summer.
