Demonstration in downtown Port-au-Prince by students seemingly against Michel Martelly. Shots fired, people injured. We don’t have any further information, at this time other than the fact they were yelling pro-Aristide and anti-Martelly slogans which might not be the real reasons behind the moment.

HAITI NOW HAS THE BIGGEST DEMOCRACY IN CARAIBE AND IF THE INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY WANT TO HELP US THEY SHOULD PUT PRESSURE ON THE PARLIAMENT TO APPROVE MARTELY’S PRIMINITER OR THEY GOING SPEND MONEY IN HAITI FOR EVER NOTHING DONE.
ARISTIDE SHOULD N’T BE A PROBLEM FOR HAITI AGAIN!
Absolutely correct but, by not taking immediate action, the Americans have allowed Preval and Aristide to regain a prime position.
Preval has already placed someone inside of Martelly’s inner circle with an understanding that he will kill Martelly if ordered to do so.
If Martelly attempts to arrest Preval or Aristide – he will be killed.
The Preval/Aristide people are predicting Martelly’s death by November, when elections threaten to break INITE’s hold on the Senate.
All of these problems are the result of American interference or non-action. One is as bad as the other.
No offense, but is it not naive to think that the americans care about reducing crime in Haiti? They are the reason why cocaine runs through Haiti, and they are also the reason why we will see aristide and preval taking control. It is exactly what the cocaine nation of america wants. More cocaine, and all of the profits that come with it.
The americans gave us BS elections, and what they want in return is easy cocaine, no matter the cost in human life to get it there
