Let’s hope Andresol is responsible for the kidnapping of at least one American citizen. Then he can be extradited to the United States and given a real trial and real sentence.
In Haiti he might be convicted and released in a few months, like Dorfuille, the killer on Monique Pierre, released by Martelly and reintegrated into the PNH – also by Martelly.

Anyone involved in committing these heinous acts should absolutely be punished to the fullest extent of the law. I am also of the opinion that if American citizens were kidnapped then the alleged kidnappers should be extradited to the US. Sentencing guidelines for kidnapping, with a demand for ransom, carries a minimum of 121 months and a maximum of life imprisonment for EACH count.
As of this moment, Andresol’s house is surrounded by MINUSTAH soldiers and there is an Interdiction Notice against his departure from Haiti.
Some people have problems accepting the truth, however, there will be some big surprises when members of the major families are arrested.
In the past, they have enjoyed impunity, because of position, or money. This time the axe will fall because American citizens have been kidnapped.

What you did for Haiti during our election was so very powerful. We heard truth and fact as it happened, and were enabled to make a good decision in our casting of votes.

There are no laws in Haiti. Everything is chaos and dealt with according to your social status. the judicial system needs serious revamp. If things keep going like that, we will witness the worst in the Caribbean.
One of the things that attract my attention is that hundreds of people from the elite business community are involved in kidnapping here. If it is true, Haiti is in a horrible danger and the majority must be re-organized to save the country. We can be frightened to count on our elite.

The criminal, social and economic harm that Clifford Brandt and his cohorts have done to Haiti is unquantifiable. How many families haves been destroyed? How many murdered when kidnappings went wrong? How many women raped? How many visitors and investors have been scared away? Brandt and his associates need to rot away in jail. You claim to be Mario Andresol, which you are not.
Our information comes from within the PNH, the embassies and MINUSTAH – along with information reported by the Haitian media.
At the moment, Mario Andresol is suspected of involvement in the murder of a fellow police officer and an involvement in the so-called Brandt kidnap ring. He is, repeat is, under house arrest and has an interdiction notice against him at the airport and border crossings.
This is a fact.
Whether or not he is finally charged, or convicted of the things people alledge remains to be seen.
However, if you are Mario Andresol – which you are not – simply buy a ticket for Miami and try to get on the airplane. You won’t make it.
No one said Andresol’s children are here. In fact, since he seems to prefer male company, I am surprised to hear that children are involved.

Time will tell as to what the real facts are. The authorities say that there is an Interdiction Notice filed against him. We have no control over what they say.
Why doesn’t Andresol buy a ticket and try to leave the country. We suggest a refundable ticket so he will be able to get his money back.
A court action is always an option. However, anyone considering this really opens a Pandora’s Box since all comes out in Deposition. There could be questions about a box in Andresol’s office, referred to by many PNH officers from the provinces, into which they were expected to drop envelopes with cash. Ask Andresol if this is true. There are other things that could be revealed.

You say he was in New York during the Aristide/Lavalas governement and only returned when Latortue was in power?
He was referred to as “The Serpico of Haiti, during his service under the Lavalas government. In case you don’t know who Serpico is… he was a New York undercover police officer who sought justice in unorthodox ways….working against the corrupt system in place.

Some honored Andresol for his arrest of drug dealers. Sure he arrested drug dealers but the ones he arrested were Aristide’s competition. In other words, Andresol got a lot of good publicity, while taking care of his leader’s problems.
Andresol finally got on the wrong side of Aristide and ended up in trouble. Some say he made a lot of money and purchased a number of houses with profits from his own drug business.
Time will tell.
