Haiti has been inflicted with many phony polls, that pretend to be handled along American Gallup  standards, when no poll exists. Boulos was/is famous for these and rumor sees him controlling CEP chief Opont.

On Sunday, a local TV station stopped a random 4 16 passenger busses on the Canape Verte Road and asked the 64 people who they would vote to be President.

48 said they wanted Laurent Lamothe.

7 said they liked Jude Celestin.

5 picked Moise Jean-Charles.

1 lady said she would vote for Jean-Henry Ceant.

A couple of others were mentioned.

Not a single person mentioned Jacky Lumarque.

There must be a message here!

We have been promised an International Community-approved and financed election, yet the most popular person in Haiti has been blocked by the process.
Time to stop and smell the roses, before another Haitian electoral disaster strikes!

The CEP has been shown to be a completely, and totally corrupt, incompetent  organization.  The CEP has already, with the assistance/action of a few others, including Youri Latortue and Senator Lambert, set an electoral structure foundation of carefully selected individuals, that will favor candidates of their choice – no matter what the true ballot may reflect.

Time to set aside Martelly’s illegal blockage of the Lamothe candidacy.

Logistics Director of CEP was assassinated on Delmas yesterday.

Ginette Cherubin, an earlier member of an earlier CEP said – during a Sunday radio interview – that the 2010 election was a crime and Opont should be arrested for this – since he was in charge at that time.

He should now be arrested for his 2015 crimes as a repeat criminal!!

Time to step back, take a breath, and create a new CEP, Electoral Law and basic process.

Better to invest a little time now and avoid the avoidable mistakes.

Time for the voters in Haiti to have the option of voting Yes or No on the candidacy of Laurent Lamothe.

The Nation’s survival depends on this.

  1. The message is a simple one.

    This is a very smart plan between Martelly and Preval to keep Lamothe out of the game.

    Preval only wants to win the Parliament and appoint a Prime Minister. Then there will be no Presidential Elections and the International Community will accept.

    Jacky Lumarque is not considered, by Preval, as a serious candidate.

    Of course, Martelly would like to see Bouclier, the Kiko-coordinated party, win.

    Anything is possible.
