Elizabeth Delatour Preval has been pressured  by American embassy representatives, and others, to convince her husband  that dumping Celestin is the only way to derail her  indictment in the States. For some time, American federal authorities have been preparing the groundwork for Elizabeth’s prosecution.

Investigators believe that she is guilty of several criminal violations of the Internal Revenue Service’s legal requirements. A major American movie star was charged with, and convicted of the same offenses and is now serving a five year prison sentence.

Friends say she has aged visibly over the past couple of weeks as Preval refuses to consider dumping his friend Jude Celestin.

This hasn’t stopped President Preval from preparing an escape hatch into the Dominican Republic. The DR’s President Fernandez is keen to see Preval leave Bellerive in the Prime Minister’s position. This is understandable since Bellerive has been a member of the Dominican secret service for over 20 years.

Preval has been in discussion with judges on the possibility of acting under Article 149, of the Constitution, seeing a judge take the Provisional Presidency while elections are planned.

Chaos, a gift from Preval, threatens the nation as February 7 approaches without a resolution to the electoral fiasco.

Michel Martelly’s people have threatened to fire upon Preval’s residence. A policeman, and his brother were killed. Another senior police officer was wounded, in another incident, that saw the officer’s wife and children kidnapped.

Insiders believe this is Preval’s action to create an unstable situation in which he can declare a State of Siege and remain in power.

Hillary Clinton has not helped the situation by insisting that the fraudulent, criminal elections results, certified by the OAS, be accepted by Haiti.

The place is about to explode and Clinton has poured gasoline on the pl;ace. All that remains is a match to ignite a holocoust.
